If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework. *It is the policy of the Department of Human Services that the individual awarded this position successfully complete a Fingerprinting check (MNJIS/CJIS). The Legal Process Coordinator, Senior exists to provide leadership around segments of work undertaken by the Legal Operations Team in support of Legal Counsel’s Office for the Office of Inspector General (OIG). This position serves as a subject matter expert and process owner for assigned legal operations functions involving complex legal process coordination, administrative review activities, court-related filings, and data management responsibilities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Help define, create, evaluate, and improve processes associated with their defined scope of work. • Exercise independent judgement in coordinating legally significant administrative processes. • Complete the identification, procurement, and redaction of data as needed to assist with the data request process for OIG Legal. • Oversee complex legal processes associated with administrative reviews of payment withholds, including preliminary procedural review, court coordination, statutory compliance, management of recurring 90-day reviews of withheld payments, and related legal process management.

Experience must demonstrate the following: • Experience designing and documenting legal processes and training materials for areas of legal work. • Experience with/knowledge of the MN Government Data Practices Act and/or managing requests for public and private data. • Experience with SharePoint, Agile, and/or other technical platforms or systems used for maintaining data and managing legal processes. • Experience with the administrative hearing process, court filings, and reviewing court records.
