The Fiscal Policy Analyst will provide data analyses and program evaluation needed to support fiscal policy and planning for aging programs including Elderly Waiver (EW), Alternative Care (AC), and Essential Community Supports (ECS). The incumbent conducts policy and data analysis and project management activities and develops and implements quality assurance processes and procedures. Responsibilities include: • Develop and implement data analyses and reporting that supports implementation and ongoing administration of rate-setting systems for aging programs and other fiscal policy efforts • Conduct project management and project support activities needed for implementation and ongoing administration of the aging programs rate-setting systems and rate changes or updates • Serve as a technical expert on implementing and maintaining aging rate-setting policies through information systems such as MnChoices and MMIS • Support existing quality assurance processes, and recommend new or modified processes, to ensure the integrity of the aging programs
**To facilitate proper crediting, please ensure that your resume clearly describes your experience in the areas listed and indicates the beginning and ending month, day and year for each job held.** 2 years advanced administrative support, paraprofessional, or technical experience OR Associate degree in related field and 1 year advanced administrative support, paraprofessional, or technical experience OR Bachelor’s degree in related field AND Experience must include the following: • Knowledge of Home and community-based long-term services and supports (LTSS) for older adults in Minnesota • Experience with advanced data analysis and rate modeling • Experience conducting statistical and/or other research sufficient to design and prepare qualitative and quantitative studies and reports, analyze results and critique the analytical methods and results of other professionals
