If you live in a state bordering Minnesota, you must live within 50 miles or less from the primary work location to be eligible for telework.*** The Department of Human Services’ (DHS) Resettlement Programs Office (RPO) supports the effective resettlement of refugees in Minnesota by helping them meet their basic needs to that they can live in dignity and achieve their highest potential. As a member of the Fiscal and Operations Team in RPO, this position coordinates and provides administrative support for the RPO program. Under limited supervision, this position develops and implements procedures and guidelines to govern complex administrative processes, interprets agency policies and procedures, and serves as the assistant to the Director of RPO. Responsibilities include but may not be limited to: • Provide administrative support for RPO managers, supervisors, and staff. • Provide administrative support to the Director of RPO. • Develop and implement procedures and guidelines to govern complex administrative processes. • Serve as Technical Service Liaison (TSL) for RPO to afford efficient daily access to business-critical data and basic communication tools.

Customer Service Skills sufficient to provide information to wide range of clientele, including phone calls and e-mail contacts in helpful and courteous manner.
Desktop or Website Publishing skills sufficient to utilize computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite products (Adobe, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PPT, etc.) or similar software.
Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to complete a variety of reports, letters and data summaries.
